Restaurant Helena in Quedlinburg

We were a seven-man vacation group who were very hungry after a long day of hiking. Usually the size of the group is a problem if you want to go out to eat spontaneously. But not with the friendly and sociable staff of the "Helenas". After five minutes we were seated at a large table with a nice atmosphere. The ouzo as a greeting also quickly broke the ice. We felt very comfortable and the food was also excellent. The portions are nicely arranged, the plate full but not overloaded and the taste is simply a treat for the palate. We can really recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. Many thanks to the team for the two beautiful evenings. PS: Thanks for forwarding my baseball cap. You are the best, keep it up !!

Sorry, but my wife, who usually never finishes, had to order a dessert. For just under € 20 just too little. Tastes quite good except for the salad. But top service!

High quality Greek food, which makes you full - although the plates aren‘t super big. Typical price structure (mains from 12.50€). We were among the first customers, but had to wait almost 40 mins for our food. Extra menu for kids (public playground for toddlers and older kids close nearby).

We were here in early August as repeat offenders from the year before. Even by spoiled Hamburg standards, one of the best Greek restaurants I know - even with really good retsina instead of the normal "standard" as the icing on the cake. Definitely again in autumn :-)

I've been going there for years and it's always nice. I think the food is great. Even my daughter comes from Leipzig to eat with Helena. Dear people, delicious food. I also think it's great that there are no reservations outside so everyone has a chance

Even though I went to dinner without a reservation, the staff was very friendly. In particular, the garlic bread that came out before the meal was really good and I want to eat it again!

Amazing good and well cooked food. We got the garlic bread m tzatziki, probably the best garlic bread I've tasted. We also got a "Helena plate" which is a little differently mixed. It is somewhat reminiscent of a "Grill counter" where it is often a bit "try your luck". This was just super good. Really tender and flavorful, and juicy meat, where you could really taste the different flavors and their distinctiveness. It was heavenly 😍 Can really be recommended 👍😊

If you ordered, the food reached you in a suitable and good time window. The food considered individually does the rest of the reviews right and tasted good. Only the fat content of the sauce was not good for me personally, but this is probably more due to my choice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We ordered two main courses and drinks. After 40 minutes we got our drinks. After 50 minutes the salad was on the table and only after 1 hour the main course. The waiting times are definitely too long. The meat was juicy but much too salty. The service was very nice.

Excellent Greek place in Quedlinburg. If you like Greek food, you will love the restaurant Helena. Friendly service, good food, good wine and a cool fitout (like a taverna). If you in town - I can highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure. We ate the gyros plate, gyros + souvlaki plate the chicken skewers and some baked feta. Everything was delicious and the skewers are all flamed grilled. Didn't take any pictures as it came and we straight away digged in 😅

Nice, friendly service, tables "garden" set on the street, but in a picturesque and quiet corner. Fast service, fresh dishes, tasty in moderation. Prices quite high, but adequate to the size of the portions, which - note - are really big. The cod fillet is actually two big fillets, and the Helena company platter (gyros, grilled pork, grilled chicken and chop plus rice, French fries and tzatziki) is successfully enough for two people. It is worth to choose

Great food and friendly staff, even to those who don't speak the language.

Horrible attitude. They gave us an English menu and after we decided what to eat, they said the prices on that menu are not the correct ones, and when we complained about it, they said "we have 150 costumers everyday, I don't care if you eat here not!" That is not a nice thing to say to people who are coming to your restaurant. I do not recommend this place, such rude people...

Outstanding food and service, the food was super tasty, very tender, and extremely welcoming service. We arrived late on a Sunday night after everyone else just left and we still received a very warm welcome, great hospitality and great service. Will definitely be back next time we are here.
